When the habitual SFChron gets tossed onto the drive, it is either
inside a plastic bag, or if an exceptionally dry morning - just held with a
rubber-band. The plastic goes into the recycling, but the bands pile up and
cry to be reused. This helps to answer the oft-asked Dispatch question:
"How do you go on such long trips with so few bags?"
 |
| Backpack of must-haves. |
 |
| One month + soap = round the world |
This trip will be a month in Europe. We will only need
carry-on. We are ready for ballet, biking, sailing, solstice, and playing
the tourist by bus, train, car and plane. Included are jacket and
tie; black dress and pearls - down thru shorts and flip-flops - and even
buck-naked. All held together by the humble rubber-band.
 |
| Gypsy wallet with exchange rates. |
We have locked up, put the Chronicle on hold and headed out - who
knows ... Dispatches may resume. There is so much left to see - and so few rubber-bands.

| So much to see, so few rubber-bands. |
- Rubberized Rod
 |
| Jean can pull all while I misread the map. |
